Job summary

Solomon Page represents a personal care manufacturer seeking a Quality Control Technician for their Oxford, NC facility. This onsite, full-time role operates on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with flexibility for weekend schedules based on business needs.

Responsibilities include sampling, inspecting, testing and final disposition of components and finished goods, using statistical sampling and organoleptic evaluation.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in quality control.
• Must have good math and organization skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Aptitude for color and organoleptic evaluation.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Science/technical degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Sampling, inspecting, testing and final disposition of components and finished goods.
• Use statistical sampling plans and measurement tests.
• Assist with training new employees.
• QC laboratory and manufacturing support, with sampling across facility areas.
