Martin Marietta seeks a Quality Control Technician to perform routine laboratory testing of aggregate materials and HMA. You will follow ASTM/AASHTO/CDOT standards, document results, and support plant operations to ensure material conformity with specifications.

The role involves on-site testing, sample handling, and collaboration with plant operations and customers. Prior QC testing experience is preferred, with CAPA and Radiation Safety training valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• CAPA Levels A & B certification is required.
• Radiation Safety Training Certificate.
• 6 months–1 year in Quality Control Testing within HMA or Aggregates preferred; no prior work experience required.

Responsabilités

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; prioritize safety in every task.
• Perform routine testing of aggregates and HMA per ASTM, AASHTO, CDOT and internal standards.
• Record test results and maintain accurate logs for lab, plant, and job sites.
• Monitor moisture, cleanliness, and uniformity of aggregates to meet quality targets.
• Assist with sampling raw materials and support lab schedules for routine and project testing.
• Interact with customers on-site and provide basic guidance on HMA placement and compaction.
