Job summary

Advanced Digital Cable Inc. in Hayesville, NC is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support production of high-quality wire and cable.

You will perform inspections, collect data, and help ensure products meet specifications, collaborating with production and engineering to drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include testing raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, preparing samples for certification, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and analytical with a team orientation.
• Experience in quality control, manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of SPC or ability to learn SPC concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping, multitasking.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Quality certifications (ASQ) are a plus but not required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; 2+ years QC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Collect and report data to support decisions and improvements.
• Prepare samples and documentation for product certifications.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet specs.
• Communicate findings to supervisors and peers for quick action.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering and Operations to solve quality issues.
