Job summary

Voltage Manufacturing LLC in Timberlake, NC is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day quality team in a high-volume wire harness and cable assembly facility. You will supervise Inspectors and Technicians, ensure customer specs and ISO/QMS compliance, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of quality manufacturing experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience in wire harness, cable assembly, automotive, electronics, or similar environment.
• Experience with incoming, in-process, and final inspections; customer audits and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and CAPA.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP; proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily quality inspection activities including incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Maintain inspection records, traceability, and calibration support.
• Ensure ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and QMS compliance; support audits.
• Directly supervise Quality Inspectors and Technicians; schedule workloads.
• Coach employees on inspection methods, quality procedures, and accountability.
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.
• Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, defects, and customer complaints.
