Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Missouri seeks a diligent lab support associate to receive, log, and manage samples, maintain inventories, and coordinate outgoing shipments.

You will keep the stockroom organized, handle basic calibration of balances and pH meters, and ensure safety and cGMP compliance while contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Life Science or HS diploma with 5+ years lab experience.
• Familiarity with cGMP environments and pharma guidelines preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, LIMS or SAP, and basic lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and manage samples, retain inventories, and outgoing shipments.
• Keep stockroom organized, track inventory, and order reagents.
• Handle daily lab support duties: wash glassware, dispose of waste, keep areas clean.
• Perform basic calibration/maintenance on balances and pH meters.
• Follow cGMP and safety rules to ensure right-first-time quality.
• Support team process improvements and other lab duties as needed.

Your Role

• Receive, log, and manage samples, retain inventories, and outgoing shipments
• Keep stockroom organized, track inventory, and order reagents
• Handle daily lab support duties, including washing glassware, disposing of waste, and keeping work areas clean
• Perform basic calibration and maintenance on equipment like balances and pH meters
• Follow cGMP guidelines, safety rules, and procedures to ensure right-first-time quality
• Help with team process improvements and extra lab support duties as needed
• Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Mon- Fri

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Life Science

OR

• HS diploma and 5+ years of lab experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of lab experience in a cGMP environment following pharma guidelines such as 21 CFR 210/211 or ICH Q7A
• Strong understanding of everyday lab safety and proper clean-room or laboratory habits
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), SmartSheets, and software like LIMS or SAP
• Hands-on experience or exposure to HPLC, UV, Solo VPE, or protein testing
• Solid time management with clear written and spoken communication skills

RSREMD

Pay rate range for this position: $23.99 - $44.00 per hr.

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
