Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to perform daily operations, uphold safety, quality, and accurate documentation while meeting production goals. You will support equipment, materials, inventory, and cross‑department projects; communicate deviations to leadership; participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role is 1st shift, Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with training provided and the need to work with hazardous chemicals following strict

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Life Science/Engineering discipline.
• OR High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of related experience in chemical production, laboratory or chemical engineering role.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of ISO quality standards.

Your Role

• Shift/Hours: 1st shift, Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Physical Attributes

• Wear an air helmet, respirator mask, safety shoes, rubber apron, chemical protective suits and gloves, safety glasses and goggles to protect from toxic or corrosive chemicals.
• Work in occasional wet, humid abnormally hot or cold environment.
• Sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch for long periods of time.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work with and in proximity of hazardous chemicals.
• Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Use a range of office, laboratory, and manufacturing equipment.
• Work near moving mechanical parts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline.

OR

• High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of work experience in a chemical production, laboratory or chemical engineering role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Safe chemical handling methods.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality standards

Pay Range for this position: $27/hour - $48/hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
