Job summary

Amalie Oil Company is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the Charleston, SC area. The role involves performing quality inspections across packaging, shipping, receiving and blow molding, with potential area specializations.

The position requires at least 1 year in QC/assurance, strong measurement skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The job operates on the second shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) with occasional overtime, and is on-site in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality control/assurance field.
• Ability to make accurate calculations and measurements.
• Must be self-directed, but able to work as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail under fast-paced manufacturing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of product quality inspections.
• Assist in QC breakdown of nonconforming products and materials.
• Verify documentation on production paperwork.
• Assist in inventory management.
• Ensure facility-wide adherence to ISO 9001 standard.
• Quality verification checks of outbound product shipments.
• Verify product information against ERP system (D365).
• Verify correct information of products loaded/unloaded.
• Take measurements and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all safety precautions.
• Assist in correcting nonconformances discovered.
• Sign off and approve production.
