Job summary

AOCUSA in Charleston, SC is hiring a Quality Control Technician for the Second Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), full-time on-site with occasional overtime. The role supports packaging, shipping, receiving and blow molding quality processes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a quality control/assurance field.
• Ability to make accurate calculations and measurements.
• Must be self-directed, but still able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work under the pressure of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, be punctual, and have a good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of products.
• Assist in QC breakdown of nonconforming products and materials.
• Verify proper documentation on production paperwork.
• Assist in inventory management.
• Ensure facility wide adherence to the ISO 9001 standard.
• Quality verification checks of outbound product shipments.
• Verify correct information against the ERP system (D365).
• Verify correct loading/unloading information.
• Take measurements, perform calculations, and maintain records.
• Follow all safety precautions.
• Assist in correcting nonconformances discovered.
• Sign off and approve production.
