Amalie Oil Company in Charleston, SC is seeking a Blow Molding Technician 1 for the second shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) on a full-time, on-site basis. You will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot blow molding equipment to produce plastic bottles while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes setting up machinery, inspecting finished containers for defects, managing material flow, and performing minor maintenance.

Qualifications

• Blow molding and plastic manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to use hand tools and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run blow molding machinery to produce plastic bottles.
• Inspect finished containers for defects using visual checks and detectors.
• Monitor raw materials to ensure consistent production flow.
• Perform minor maintenance and clean molds.
• Identify and resolve basic machine issues such as air pressure or jammed bottles.
• Assist with more complex machine setups and adjustments as needed.
