Job description

As a Quality Control Technician, you will perform complex chemical and physical tests on existing products and raw materials, evaluating results to ensure products meet specifications and result in a quality product. You will report to the Quality Manager at the Oklahoma City Plant.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform prescribed QA testing according to QA procedures and work instructions, including reviewing raw material COA, testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
2. Adjust batches as necessary to meet specification ranges, considering the company's FRC goals.
3. Enter appropriate data into SAP for batch approval.
4. Report any problems or unusual observations regarding coatings or testing equipment to the Supervisor.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to the QA Program through proper training.
6. Examine retained samples for prescribed analysis to assess batch characteristics and storage life.
7. Examine retained samples or field units from reported complaints and report findings to the Supervisor.
8. Use safe practices in all laboratory work.
9. Maintain a clean work area.
10. Assist in training entry-level personnel.
11. Support the Supervisor in any assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of industrial laboratory experience or advanced academic training in science and/or mathematics.
• EHS Training including Emergency Response, Hazardous Waste, Fire Safety, Industrial Ergonomics, PPE, Walking and Working Surfaces.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Shift Hours

• 2pm-10pm
• Training on 1st shift (approximately 4-6 weeks)
