Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc in Monroe, WI is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift. You will inspect mechanical workmanship and body, paint, and finish on completed vehicles according to QC checklists, perform minor adjustments, and handle pre-delivery tasks.

You’ll take photos, assist with training new QC staff, and support the certification process while maintaining decals and touch-up supplies. This role offers growth in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to communicate effectively across teams.
  • Experience using hand tools is required.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to QC procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect mechanical workmanship on completed vehicles per QC checklists
  • Inspect body, paint, and finish on completed vehicles
  • Perform minor adjustments and repairs as required
  • Perform pre-delivery tasks (grease, adjust doors, headlights, etc.)
  • Return vehicles to shop for required rework
  • Certify completed vehicles and apply correct certification label
  • Take digital photos of completed vehicles as required
  • Assist with vehicle wash and detail as required
  • Maintain decals and touch-up paint supplies
  • Assist with training of new QC employees

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Inspect mechanical workmanship on completed vehicles per applicable QC checklists
