Quality Control Technician

Job Summary:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Repair broken-down or damaged equipment in the field.
• Assess hardware and installation functionality; prepare reports on maintenance and repairs performed.
• Handle customer relations professionally and friendly.
• Explain repair issues accessibly to non-technical audiences.
• Conduct weld inspections to identify defects, ensure quality standards, and provide coaching/training as needed.
• Perform detailed inspections of raw materials and final products to ensure manufacturing standards.
• Track, record, and maintain quality assurance data.
• Monitor the entire manufacturing process to ensure each step is correctly completed.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on welding issues and continuous improvement.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations, fostering safety and quality culture.
• Travel to Watertown, SD as needed; total travel less than 10%.
