Job Description: Quality Control Technician at Ipsen USA

Ipsen USA, a leader in versatile heat treatment systems and advanced process technology, is seeking a Quality Control Technician. Our equipment serves industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, Medical, and Tool & Die globally.

Position Overview: The technician troubleshoots and verifies that new equipment performs properly, safely, and meets contractual specifications. Responsibilities include documenting ISO paperwork, ensuring equipment readiness before shipping or Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Safely inspect large control cabinets while powered, using electrical prints.
2. Respond promptly to supplier and intercompany emails.
3. Compile data, create job folders, and process orders accurately.
4. Maintain ISO forms related to Quality Control.
5. Cross-reference sales orders and specifications during order processing.
6. Inspect and program new parts, verify quantities against bills of material, and create packing slips.
7. Collaborate with engineering, production control, project management, and production to resolve issues.
8. Adhere to safety, attendance, and policy standards.
9. Travel up to 10% to customer sites for troubleshooting.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Proficiency with voltmeters, VFD programming, and PLC connections.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely with 480/120V AC & 24V DC.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or advanced education preferred.
• Experience with electrical systems and industrial maintenance required.
