Job Description Summary: This position will be responsible for product quality, process, and control to ensure that the work complies with all regulatory requirements, as well as facility, divisional, and corporate objectives within the Service organization.

Summary:

BD seeks motivated candidates to join our growing team. We are looking for an experienced individual responsible for all aspects of quality control in our Global Service department. The ideal candidate will have service operations experience, understand customer specifications, and possess excellent communication skills for collaboration across departments such as Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, and Purchasing. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and functional testing on returned products, make accept/reject decisions, and create quality records following written procedures.
• Accurately document the results of return product inspections and testing.
• Inspect completed Service History Records (SHR) for accuracy and completeness and perform product final release reviews as required.
• Identify and record documentation quality issues in the GDP database, participate in biweekly GDP Error Review Meetings.
• Support and manage complaint investigations and review product history records related to customer complaints.
• Work with divisional Field Assurance to resolve quality issues with work orders.
• Provide support for: pre-review of quality document changes, qualification testing (IQ, OQ, PQ) for product transfers, audits (FDA, ISO, internal), and ServiceMax User Acceptance Testing.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or professional certification preferred.
• At least one year experience performing electro-mechanical inspections in an FDA or ISO regulated environment.
• Basic familiarity with FDA QSR and ISO 9000/ISO 13485 Quality System Requirements.
• Familiarity with ServiceMax and TrackWise.
• Strong attention to detail and a “do it right the first time” attitude.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and specifications.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to use a computer for data entry, report preparation, and ERP transactions.
