CG Roxane LLC is the leading supplier of Spring Water in the USA. Why is it so important to bottle at the source? Simply put, not only does it make for better freshness, purity and taste, it is also better for the environment. It is more difficult to do it this way, but we never compromise quality.

All our packaging is 100 % recyclable, and since 1990, we have decreased the use of PET plastic in our bottles by 25 %. We are the first U.S. beverage company to open a recycled PET plant; this was done in San Bernardino, CA. Our second recycling plant is located at Benton, TN. Here, we manufacture the recycled PET that we use in our East Coast bottling facilities.

CG Roxane is looking for a full-time QC Technician to join our developing team in Benton. Do you pay attention to details? KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is under the supervision of the QC Manager and Chief Quality Officer. The technician will also collaborate with the QC team in San Bernardino, CA.

·Collect and prepare PET plastic samples for lab testing

·Perform routine tests on PET, such as color, weight, viscosity, bulk density, and calorimetry

·Ensure timely delivery of lab samples via Fedex for external tests

·Report test results on a Certificate of Analysis for all shipments and other PET samples

·Maintain daily and accurate logs of all work completed

·Maintain a very organized and accurate storage of all PET samples

·Follow established procedures for all tests and sample preparations

·Complete data entry, compilation, and backup of all lab results

·Follow calibration and/or verification procedures for lab equipment

·Maintain proper cleanliness of lab areas and equipment

·Assist with keeping the site clean, including the warehouse and surrounding area

·Assist with inventory management and release of finished product from warehouse

·Archive facility paperwork after inspection for completeness and correctness

·Alert QC Manager of any problems found during sampling, testing, or facility inspections

·Comply with all CG Roxane company rules and practices

·All other duties as assigned by management

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·A minimum of a High school diploma or GED is required

·College-level science courses that included a laboratory aspect are highly desired

·Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred

·Previous work in a team, laboratory, or warehouse is a plus

COMPETENCIES AND ABILITIES

·Must be able to work alone, safely and independently

·Must be comfortable performing repetitive actions, such as standing, pulling, pushing, and turning

·Communicate promptly, clearly and effectively in verbal and written form

·Must be able to work weekends on a monthly (or other) rotation

·Must be comfortable participating in team meetings over zoom, as needed

This is an on-site position with no relocation offered.
