Description

Nyco Products is seeking a QC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have high standards for accuracy and accountability, with a keen eye for detail. As a QC Technician, you will perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to maintain product quality, ensuring safety and compliance with specifications. You will be responsible for identifying discrepancies, supporting manufacturing adjustments, and maintaining laboratory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform testing on production batches, raw materials, and finished products (e.g., pH, viscosity, density, etc.)
• Document data accurately for samples, production, and suppliers
• Assist in adjusting batch formulations to meet specifications
• Prepare and submit certificates of analysis upon request
• Calibrate and maintain lab instruments and equipment
• Prepare analytical reagents for testing
• Collect and maintain samples from production
• Maintain lab cleanliness and assist team members as needed

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Chemistry or related experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and reports
• Basic math skills, including ratios and percentages
• Experience with analytical and wet chemistry tests
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
