Job description

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

This position is with a locally owned and family-operated company in Milwaukee, WI, specializing in the construction industry and building materials. The company values promoting from within and offers excellent growth opportunities.

Compensation

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the quality and compliance of products.
  • Collaborate with the on-site Production team to identify and resolve issues.
  • Oversee third-party testing to ensure compliance; assist the Lab department as needed.
  • Maintain safety standards on job sites and in the yard.
  • Assist drivers, troubleshoot issues, and guide trucks in difficult situations.
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of US Military experience is required.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong understanding of chemistry and math; excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and customer service experience in a technical environment.
  • Experience in construction or the building industry is highly preferred.
Additional Information

Must have strong customer service skills in a technical environment. Candidates should be able to pass a background check and drug screening. This role is full-time, associate level, and falls under the Quality Assurance function within Manufacturing industry.
