Salary Range: $19.50 - $23.50 Hourly
Job Shift: Night
Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Testing raw materials, collecting and entering process data, and evaluating finished products. Assist the Quality Manager/Supervisor in organizing and reporting monthly quality audit results. Support the development of new and improved processes, product specifications, and production operations to enhance quality control, reduce deviations, improve equipment efficiency, and upgrade product quality.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform tests on raw materials to verify compliance with Cooley specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect manufactured and purchased products visually and through testing to ensure compliance with customer specifications and Cooley quality standards.
  • Maintain reporting systems to document inspection and testing results; make approval, rejection, or retest decisions based on documented data.
  • Identify quality issues or trends based on test data; report findings to supervisors and relevant production personnel.
  • Conduct special or additional testing as required.
  • Adhere to all practices, policies, and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and 14000 standards.
Qualifications
  • Three to five years of experience in manufacturing quality or a similar environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with test standards (ASTM, ISO, MIL, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with PCs, including Access, Lotus Notes, Word, and Excel.
