Position Summary

Mill Creek Machining (MCM), a CMT company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Paullina, IA location. This role involves verifying that manufactured parts and outside services meet customer specifications through inspection control methods and procedures. *Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Pay range: $18.50/hr - $23.00/hr, depending on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
• Perform inspections at all production stages.
• Evaluate data and draft reports, noting deviations from standards.
• Identify areas for quality improvement and implement new methods.
• Communicate quality concerns promptly.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3+ years of experience in quality inspection, with hands-on knowledge of mechanical and automated inspection tools.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards is a plus.
• Knowledge of drawing interpretation (GD&T), inspection activities, manufacturing processes, and problem-solving is beneficial.
• Familiarity with FAI and PPAP inspection procedures is advantageous.
