Diamond Vogel has an opening for a 1st Shift Quality Control Technician in our Liquid Paint Production plant in Orange City, IA. 1st shift hours range from 6:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday. A shorter shift is worked on Fridays. Primary duties include routine testing of raw materials and finished goods in direct support of the paint production team. This job is also color-related, so a detailed eye for color is important.

On-the-job training will develop the following technical skills:

• Perform routine tests with minimal supervision
• Maintain accurate records of all results and samples
• Communicate observations, test procedures, and related data verbally and in written form with team members
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
