Responsibilities

This non-exempt position adheres to a Quality Control System that complies with federal, state, and local construction specifications for asphalt, concrete, and quarry products.

• Run daily quality control tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
• Develop and follow all quality control procedures for asphalt, concrete, and quarry operations.
• Create asphalt and concrete mix designs in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate quality control procedures with project representatives and government agencies.
• Conduct lab experiments on products following scientific protocols.
• Coordinate with plant control rooms regarding mix designs required by customers.
• Analyze technical data related to production from external sales and technical representatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a scientific or engineering field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience; 3-5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of product types, components, and applicable government regulations.
• Experience with scientific lab protocols is required.
