Responsibilities

This non-exempt position adheres to a Quality Control System that complies with federal, state, and local construction specifications for asphalt and concrete plant products, as well as quarry operations.

1. Run daily quality control tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
2. Develop and adhere to quality control procedures for asphalt, concrete, and quarry operations.
3. Create asphalt and concrete mix designs according to project specifications.
4. Coordinate quality control procedures with federal, state, and local government representatives on various projects.
5. Conduct lab experiments on products following scientific protocols.
6. Coordinate with asphalt, quarry, and concrete plant control rooms regarding customer mix design requirements.
7. Analyze technical data related to products from external salespeople and technical representatives.
8. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience; 3-5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of product types, components, and applicable government regulations.
• Knowledge of scientific lab protocols.
