Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking a Quality Control Technician to serve at various project sites in Upper Michigan. You’ll test materials such as concrete and asphalt, record measurements, and verify that road construction meets industry standards.

This entry-level role requires a driver’s license, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and comfort working outdoors in all weather. Training in basic math will be provided, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours (construction schedules vary).
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Basic math skills (we’ll teach you what you need!).

The Position:

As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll be the quality eyes on our construction projects-testing materials like concrete and asphalt, taking measurements, documenting results, and ensuring our road construction meets strict standards. You’ll work outdoors at various project sites throughout Upper Michigan, learning valuable technical skills from day one.
