Walbec Group is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect materials like concrete and asphalt on construction sites across Upper Michigan. You’ll take measurements, document results, and verify that road projects meet strict quality standards.

Field work is outdoors at diverse sites; you’ll learn valuable technical skills from day one in a safety‑driven environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Willingness to work flexible hours (construction schedules vary).
• High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required for the right person).

As a Quality Control Technician, you'll be the quality eyes on our construction projects-testing materials like concrete and asphalt, taking measurements, documenting results, and ensuring our road construction meets strict standards. You'll work outdoors at various project sites throughout Upper Michigan, learning valuable technical skills from day one.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
