Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Quality Control Technician to verify that manufactured sub-assemblies, parts and assembled machines meet design specifications. The role reports to the Production Manager and covers incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of quality inspection experience, an HS diploma or higher, and the ability to read CAD drawings with calibration knowledge of gauges and measurement equipment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in Quality Inspection of manufactured parts.
• Preferred High School Diploma or Higher.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Measure incoming materials by checking specifications and testing.
• Approve in-process production by testing and communicating adjustments.
• Approve returning products for re-work and document results.
• Document inspection results in reports/logs and input into MRP system.

Modern Packaging is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform a variety of quality control duties to determine that manufactured sub-assemblies, manufactured parts, and assembled machines are built in accordance with company design specifications and requirements. This position reports to the Production Manager.
Modern Packaging is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform a variety of quality control duties to determine that manufactured sub-assemblies, manufactured parts, and assembled machines are built in accordance with company design specifications and requirements. This position reports to the Production Manager.

• Measures incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and contacting supplier regarding unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating any required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approves returning internal and external products for re-work, confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; and inputting data into an applicable MRP system.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Knowledge of calibration of gauges and measurement equipment as required
• Strong ability to read and interpret Cad drawings.

Qualifications

3-5 years: Experience in Quality Inspection of manufactured parts.
