Job summary

ProMach in Minnesota is seeking a hands-on assembler to join our shop floor. You will perform mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical assembly, follow customer drawings, and lead multiple projects from start to checkout.

• Must be able to fit, align and adjust all components on a machine for testing with no supervision.
• Must be responsible to adhere to customer specifications as set forth by the Project Manager.
• Must be able to lead multiple projects on the shop floor from the machine start date through the checkout process.

• Read and interpret assembly drawings to ensure proper assembly.
• Assemble all product lines and monitor scheduling with Project Manager.
• Ensure work area is clean, safe, and orderly.
• May assist in on-site installation and final adjustment of machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform all mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical assembly operations.
• Must be responsible to adhere to customer specifications as set forth by the Project Manager.
• Required to lead multiple projects on the shop floor from the machine start date through the checkout process.
• Must be able to successfully and efficiently assemble all product lines.
• Must be proactive on monitoring the machine project schedule for assembly. Work with Project Manager and Assembly Lead/Manager while monitoring hours and resources.
• Take proper care of shop tools and make sure they are returned to their proper place daily.
• Must be able to read and understand an Assembly Drawing
• Must be able to fit, align and adjust all components on a machine for testing with no Supervision.
• Work with the Engineers on building mocked-up designs required for proper functionality of Brenton equipment.
• Assist in the test and final adjustments of machines. May be required to assist in the on-site installation of machines.
• Take a Lead role in the World Class Checkout Process.
• Ensure that work area is clean, safe and orderly
