Job summary

AllSTEM Connections, Inc. in Mount Vernon, NY is hiring a full-time QC Tech to support safety and quality programs in our food manufacturing facility. You will perform testing, sanitation checks, and documentation to ensure products meet customer specs.

You will conduct pre-operation checks, monitor temperatures, and perform routine ATP and allergen swabs, contributing to environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Solid understanding of Food Safety, Food Quality, GMP, SQF, EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with quality testing and inspections to meet company standards.

Responsibilities

• Pre-operation room checks to ensure production readiness.
• Monitor room and process temperatures according to schedule.
• Perform frequent temperature checks and document results.
• Conduct ATP and allergen swabs, environmental and product sampling, and lab submissions as needed.

Job description

Growing Food Manufacturing company in Mt Vernon NY - currently recruiting for a full time QC Tech.

Mon - Fri - 1st shift (7am - 4pm)

Responsible for safety and quality activities to assure products are within customer specifications and meet food safety requirements. Activities include testing and verification, sanitation and GMP checks, food safety documentation, product sampling and environmental monitoring, and temperature monitoring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pre-operation: Check each room before operation to ensure it is as expected to begin production.
• Room temperature: Check room temperature within assigned time range.
• Frequent temperature checks throughout day.
• Equipment testing: Take ATP swabs before production starts in the production room especially in the equipment to be used and Allergen swab throughout the day when change over formulation occurred with different allergen to verify all traces of allergen have been removed. Environmental Testing: Take swabs and samples of food contact and non-food contact to send to lab and document.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Solid understanding of Food Safety, Food Quality, GMP, SQF, EPA and OSHA Regulation.
• Ensure quality testing carry out inspections so as to meet the standard set by the organization.
