We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to support food safety, quality, and production standards within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a cold, wet, and fast-paced production facility.
Perform pre-operation room, temperature, sanitation, and GMP checks.
Conduct ATP, allergen, environmental, chemical, and product testing.
Monitor product weights, pH, temperatures, appearance, taste, and smell to ensure specifications are met.
Complete batch records, quality forms, sanitation checklists, and other food safety documentation.
Collect and properly store finished product and shelf-life samples for laboratory testing.
Monitor production areas to ensure employees and processes follow food safety and quality standards.
Identify and document quality or safety issues and initiate corrective actions/NCRs as needed.
Verify labels and production information for accuracy.
Remove products that do not meet required specifications.
Assist with internal audits, calibrations, quality inspections, and employee safety training.
Report quality or food safety concerns to management and the QC/SQF team.
High school diploma or GED required.
Understanding of Food Safety, GMP, Food Quality, SQF, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret information accurately.
Ability to maintain detailed records for audits and compliance.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with production and management.
Spanish is preferred.
Must be able to work in a cold/refrigerated environment around 35°F for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production facility with wet conditions and loud noise.
Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for 8–10 hours per day.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
