Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician at our Avon Precast Facility. The role involves performing daily QC functions, including routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and final products, in an industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform pre-pour and post-pour inspections for wet cast operations.
• Participate in Corrective Action Reports for nonconforming products.
• Monitor production and report deficiencies.
• Conduct material gradation and wet tests for concrete production.
• Perform compressive strength testing on hardened concrete.
• Maintain records of quality documents, reports, and inspections.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Report process improvements and quality concerns to management.
• Assist other QC personnel as needed.
• Ensure all precast products are correctly marked.

Job Requirements

• Previous QC experience, preferably in concrete or construction industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of math and geometry.
• Ability to read/write instructions and communicate effectively.
• Valid QC certifications, such as ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically.
