Job summary

KanPak, a Golden State Foods company, is seeking a Quality Control - In-line Tech for its Penn Yan, NY facility. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and overtime and focuses on ensuring products meet quality standards at every stage of manufacturing and packaging.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and education reimbursement, with a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (Week A: 36 hours; Week B: 48 hours).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate KanPak Quality activities and operations to meet quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Sample product and assess quality through physical, chemical and sensory evaluation.
• Sample packaging to ensure integrity through visual and tear-down examinations.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging formats; verify processing parameters.
• Other duties as required.
