Job summary

ARDEX Americas is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor for Center Township, PA. You will lead a team of QC Technicians, oversee daily lab testing, ensure compliance with specs, and drive quality improvements at our Aliquippa facility.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, lab discipline, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain testing accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory or team-leading experience.
• Lean / Six Sigma concepts exposure preferred.
• Familiarity with building materials is a plus.
• Experience with grout color matching and testing advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfort with structured, repetitive testing in a lab.
• Knowledge of quality processes, product testing, and lab practices.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple daily tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with hands-on problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory testing of raw materials and finished products to ensure specs.
• Supervise and schedule QC Technicians for consistent testing workflows.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of test data and QC records.
• Ensure all lab activities follow quality procedures and SOPs.
• Manage nonconforming product processes and quarantined material releases.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe laboratory environments.
• Oversee calibration, maintenance, and inventory of lab equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate and verify retesting activities.
• Ensure QC documentation is complete and archived properly.
• Support audit preparation and documentation reviews as needed.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Warehouse, R&D, and Technical teams.
• Lead team meetings and provide ongoing production support.
