Job summary

ARDEX Americas is seeking a Chemist I for its Center Township, PA facility. You will join the Research & Development team, supporting product development, testing, and documentation of formulations in a hands-on lab environment.

You'll gain exposure to construction materials technology, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to safety and quality standards while working on-site with occasional travel. This entry-level role offers growth within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or another scientific discipline.
• Internship, laboratory, manufacturing, research, or construction materials experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and apply data-driven problem-solving approaches.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, testing, and evaluation of product formulations.
• Support R&D projects under senior staff guidance.
• Conduct laboratory investigations of raw materials and finished products.
• Record and organize experimental data, observations, and test results.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards.
