Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) in San Antonio seeks a Test & Inspection Supervisor to lead daily testing activities, ensuring UL conformance and alignment with customer requirements. The role oversees technicians, coordinates with production, and drives quality across test areas.

The position is based 100% on site, with a focus on safety, data integrity, and continuous improvement. Strong leadership and knowledge of electrical testing are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associates or BS in a technical field or 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/plant setting.
• Experience with measuring and test equipment is preferred.
• Lean experience and ERP familiarity are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of Test Technicians and Inspectors across product lines.
• Ensure adherence to UL standards and customer specs in testing and inspection.
• Oversee testing processes: hipot, megger, torque checks, functional tests, inspections.
• Maintain accurate testing logs and data sheets.
• Support root cause analyses and corrective actions for test/quality issues.
• Train and mentor staff on procedures, safety, and documentation.
