Job summary

IEM is seeking a Test Supervisor in San Antonio, TX to lead daily test operations across product lines and supervise test technicians. This role reports to the VP of Quality & Reliability and focuses on safe, efficient, and compliant electrical testing, with emphasis on continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.

The position requires coordinating with Engineering and Production, ensuring UL standards compliance, and mentoring staff while maintaining throughput and quality in a 100%

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical testing, manufacturing, or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong experience with electrical test equipment and troubleshooting required.
• Experience in medium voltage or power systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of Test Technicians across specific product lines within the site.
• Oversee testing to align with production schedules and site priorities.
• Drive troubleshooting of wiring errors, control logic issues, and component failures to minimize downtime.
• Support development and refinement of test procedures, work instructions, and standard processes.
• Review and validate test data, logs, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor KPIs such as first pass yield and throughput; drive continuous improvement.
