Job summary

IEM in San Antonio, TX invites you to join as Test Supervisor to lead daily test operations across product lines, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant electrical testing.

You will supervise test technicians, align testing with production schedules, drive root-cause analysis, and mentor staff while collaborating with Engineering and Quality to improve procedures and performance. This role is on-site at our San Antonio facility with a start-up mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical testing, manufacturing, or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong experience with electrical test equipment and troubleshooting required.
• Experience in medium voltage or power systems preferred.
• Demonstrated ambition with potential for broader leadership roles in a fast‑paced, high‑growth organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of Test Technicians across product lines at the site.
• Align test execution with production schedules and site priorities to maintain flow.
• Oversee electrical testing activities including Hi-Pot, Megger, functional testing, relay testing, and validation.
• Drive troubleshooting of wiring errors and control logic issues to minimize downtime.
• Support development and refinement of test procedures and standard processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to resolve test failures and documentation gaps.
