Placements24 seeks a meticulous Quality Control Supervisor for FMCG operations in Welkom. You will lead QC technicians, implement testing protocols, and ensure compliance with industry regulations to protect brand integrity.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years in QC/QA, including 2+ years in supervision. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential. You will collaborate with production and R&D to drive continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related technical field.
4+ years in Quality Control/Quality Assurance; 2+ years in supervision in FMCG.
Strong understanding of HACCP, ISO 9001, and food safety principles.
Experience with testing protocols and laboratory equipment.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily quality control operations including raw material inspection and final product testing.
Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Train and mentor QC technicians, ensuring adherence to testing protocols and safety.
Analyze data, identify trends, and implement CAPAs for deviations or non-conformities.
Collaborate with production and R&D to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain records of QC activities and compliance documentation.
