Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Quality Control Lead to join the Quality Engineering team in Torrance. You will lead QC inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include establishing and implementing a complete QC program, identifying and driving corrective actions, overseeing NDT, CMM and FAI teams, training inspection personnel, and reporting metrics to balance workload and improve final inspection operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead activities related to quality control inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to standards within Honeywell Quality Engineering.
• Establish and implement a complete quality control program that identifies potential and actual problems and oversee corrective actions.
• Oversee team involvement with corrective actions and apply problem-solving techniques to resolve QC issues.
• Balance workload to optimize output of inspection teams and report metrics.
• Supervision of final inspections, NDT, CMM and FAI teams; ensure proper training of inspection personnel.
• Maintain electronic work instructions for final inspection and support continuous improvement.
