Job summary

Honeywell in Lincolnshire, IL seeks a Senior Quality Control Analyst to lead QC initiatives, perform inspections and tests, and analyze quality data for continuous improvement. The role operates on a Hybrid schedule, with the first 90 days onsite to establish goals and procedures.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, including regulatory compliance standards and quality management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools, including data analysis and quality metrics interpretation.
  • Proficiency in quality control software and tools relevant to inspection, testing, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures and processes to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to identify deviations and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Analyze quality control data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement, driving data‑driven decision‑making within the quality control function.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management on quality performance, issues, and improvement initiatives.
  • Less than 5% travel possible.

Job Description

As a Senior Quality Control Analyst at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards across our operations. You will lead quality control initiatives, conduct detailed inspections and tests, analyze quality data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards. You will report directly to our Quality Control Manager and work out of our Lincolnshire, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule, with the first 90 days 100% onsite. In this role, you will impact product quality and operational excellence by implementing and maintaining robust quality control procedures, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring that our products consistently meet and exceed industry standards.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $92,800 - $116,000. This figure serves as a general guideline; Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations.
