Job summary

AIT is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Specialist to travel to various Alaska job sites and define, inspect, and document daily work to meet minimum standards and scope of work. You will support the Corporate QC Program, manage documentation in RMS, and coordinate with the Project Manager and field teams to ensure quality across definable features of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; experience substituted 1:1.
• Five years of construction quality control on USACE projects.
• Pass USACE CQM training and obtain certificate after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and contract requirements.
• Assist in implementing and enforcing the project-specific Quality Control Plan.
• Prepare and document daily quality control inspections and reports (QCRs) using RMS.
• Upload, track, and manage submittals, RFIs, testing reports, and contract correspondence in RMS.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and field personnel to ensure understanding of quality requirements.
