Job summary

ID Logistics US in Scranton, PA is seeking a Quality Control associate to ensure quality standards for inbound materials, in-process production, and finished products, with keen attention to detail and strong communication. Leadership skills are a plus in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will handle inbound/outbound shipments, verify quantities, prepare shipping labels, maintain GMP compliance, and keep a clean work area while meeting safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• One year forklift operating experience.
• Experience in receiving, verifying quantities, signing freight bill in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Accurately count, verify UPC, make product shipping labels, label, and prepare for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Maintains quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and conditions and moving freight manually or with powered equipment.
• Ensure goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival times.
• Research product overages, shortages, and discrepancies via physical inspection or system analysis.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
