Job summary

Amneal is seeking a Scientist II - QC in the United States to perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products, including stability testing, using IR, UV-Vis, and chromatographic methods. You will document steps and results in laboratory records and participate in method transfers within the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Chemistry (Master’s preferred), 3+ years testing experience, and an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science - Required
• Master's degree in Chemistry or related science - Preferred
• This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.

Responsibilities

• Performs chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished pharmaceutical products, including products on stability, using analytical techniques.
• Prepares samples for analysis, documents steps followed, and reports results in a timely manner.
• Participates in method transfer activities between facilities or organizations.
• Investigates out-of-specification laboratory results when required.
• Performs physical analysis using techniques such as XRD, DSC, Malvern Mastersizer.
• Prepares and executes method transfer protocols, verification/validation protocols as needed.
• Assists senior scientists and trains junior staff in analytical techniques.
