Job summary

Amneal is seeking a Scientist I - QC to perform testing of raw materials, in-process and finished pharmaceutical dosage forms, and stability samples, documenting results per SOPs. The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry, 1+ year of testing experience, and familiarity with analytical methods including HPLC, UV-Vis, and IR.

Compliance with cGMP and OSHA respirator fitness is required. The base salary ranges from $68,000 to $85,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits program and 401(k)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required.
• 1+ year of experience testing chemicals/pharmaceutical products.
• Working knowledge of analytical techniques (HPLC, UV-Vis, IR, dissolution, moisture analysis).
• Must understand and apply cGMP requirements in quality control laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical testing of materials and products per SOPs.
• Calculates, documents results and reports to specifications.
• Maintains lab notebooks and records.
• Assists investigations into laboratory results.
• Calibrates instruments as assigned.
