Job summary

Amneal seeks a Scientist II - QC to perform testing of raw materials, in-process and finished pharmaceutical dosage forms, including stability samples. The role supports method transfer and investigates out-of-specification results to improve compliance.

Responsibilities include chemical analyses using IR, UV-Vis, HPLC/GC, maintaining lab records, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and quality standards within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science required.
• 3+ years testing chemicals/pharmaceutical products with BA/BS.
• 1+ year testing with MA/MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products per SOPs.
• Prepares samples, documents steps, and reports results.
• Participates in method transfer activities between facilities or organizations.
• Investigates out-of-specification results when required.
• Performs advanced physical analysis (XRD, DSC, Malvern Mastersizer).
• Prepares and executes method transfer/verification/validation protocols.
