Job summary

Air Distribution Limited in Sanford, NC is seeking a manufacturing/industrial engineer to improve processes, layout, and trials for new products. You will analyze engineering change requests, support trouble-shooting, and contribute to Lean initiatives while collaborating with Design Engineering on production issues.

Requirements include a degree in engineering and 3+ years of manufacturing/IE experience, with a strong foundation in Lean principles and efficient material flow.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related manufacturing discipline.
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience.
• Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Process engineering change requests and implement changes.
• Assist in trouble-shooting assembly & fabrication equipment.
• Optimize work-station layout for efficiency and safety.
• Justify, specify, and install new equipment.
• Introduce new products (BOM scrubbing, Manufacturing Trial Lots, and training).
• Assist in production issues with Design Engineering (DFM).
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials and Routings (Assembly and Fabrication).
• Support and/or lead Lean projects.
