Job summary

P1 Construction, LLC is seeking a QC Manager for our fabrication shop in Lawrence, KS. This role reviews production specs to determine code of construction, welding procedures, and NDE requirements (if applicable).

You will communicate findings to the production team and oversee weld quality to ensure compliance. The ideal candidate has at least five years of pipefitting field experience, Journeyman level, and a Certified Weld Inspector credential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Weld Inspector certification required or in process.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time pipefitting field experience at journeyman level.
• Union piping background preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), plus Outlook, Windows, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Review production specs to determine code of construction, welding procedures, and requirements for NDE (if applicable).
• Convey information to the production team and review welds for compliance.
• Ensure production quality and contribute to the success of the company.
