Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Quality Control Manager to focus on submittals and project closeout, initially based in Cherry Point, NC, with a transition toward King's Bay, GA. You will lead QC planning, inspections, and documentation to ensure contract compliance and timely closeout.

Required are 5+ years in commercial/federal construction, 2 years as a QCM on USACE/NAVFAC projects, active USACE CQM certification, and proficiency with Bluebeam and USACE RMS. Background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial/federal construction experience.
• 2 years as a QCM on USACE or NAVFAC construction projects.
• Ability to perform project closeout & submittals.
• Active USACE CQM certification.
• Utilize Bluebeam & USACE RMS.
• Must be able to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the project Quality Control (QC) Plan per contract requirements.
• Perform daily quality inspections and coordinate required testing.
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation.
• Track and resolve deficiencies through corrective actions and follow-up inspections.
• Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and quality records.
