Job summary

ZP Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead submittals and project closeout for federal and commercial projects. The role is based in Cherry Point, NC initially and will transition to King's Bay, GA, overseeing QC plans and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction, USACE/NAVFAC experience, and a valid USACE CQM certification. Per diem lodging/meals and comprehensive benefits are included in the package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial/federal construction experience.
• 2 years as a QCM on USACE or NAVFAC construction projects.
• Ability to perform project closeout & submittals.
• Active USACE CQM certification.
• Proficient with Bluebeam & USACE RMS.
• Must be able to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

Zachary Piper is hiring a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to focus heavily on submittals and project closeout. This position will initially be based in Cherry Point, NC and transition towards King's Bay, GA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the project Quality Control (QC) Plan per contract requirements.
• Perform daily quality inspections and coordinate required testing.
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation
• Track and resolve deficiencies through corrective actions and follow-up inspections.
• Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and quality records.

Minimum Qualifications:

Compensation Package:

• Salary Range: 80k-120k + Per Diem (lodging, meals, expenses)
