Arrowhead Contracting, Inc. is seeking a full-time Quality Control Manager (QCM) to lead on-site quality and safety for federal construction projects across the US southeast, including military bases.

You will inspect field work, ensure compliance with contract documents, and coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers. Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a QCM on federal projects, USACE CQM certification, OSHA 30, and willingness to travel (7+ years in safety roles preferred).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a quality control manager (QCM) for federal construction projects.
• USACE CQM certification.
• OSHA 30-hour class.
• This position requires travel.
• 7+ years of experience in related roles such as site safety and health officer (SSHO) on federal projects would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a QCM, inspect field crews and ensure work meets quality standards and client expectations.
• Prepare safety reports, monitor progress, and lead weekly progress meetings.
• Develop 3-week look-aheads and serve as a government site liaison.
• Hold daily safety meetings and deliver safety presentations based on daily work.
• Manage scheduling, delivery, logistics, and quality control across trades.
• Coordinate with owners and engineers on field issues and resolve design clarifications.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and safety codes.
