HHICorporation is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee quality and safety on diverse projects up to $50 million in value. You will enforce safety plans per OSHA and EM385-1-1 standards, lead training, and manage documentation and reporting for government agencies.

This role requires extensive federal project experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple trades to ensure quality without delaying construction progress.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10 years of construction experience with 2+ years as Primary Quality Control Manager on federal projects.
• Experience on federal projects (USACE, NAVFAC, VA or similar).
• Experience on projects valued at $8 million or greater.
• Experience on projects exceeding 10,000 sq ft.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training with EM385-1-1 knowledge.
• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine site walks and inspections to identify and correct non-conforming work.
• Enforce safety plans and OSHA/EM385-1-1 compliance.
• Coordinate project training for quality and safety compliance.
• Lead and document three-phase control meetings.
• Maintain all quality control documentation and logs.
• Coordinate with third-party labs, inspectors, and commissioning agents.
• Support project closeout activities including punch lists and as-built docs.

MainDutiesandResponsibilities

• Performroutinesitewalksandinspectionstoidentify,document,andcorrectdeficientornon-conformingwork.
• EnforceapprovedprojectsafetyplansandensurecompliancewithOSHA,EM385-1-1,andproject-specificsafetyrequirements.
• Conduct,coordinate,and/orfacilitaterequiredprojecttrainingforqualityandsafetycompliance.
• LeadmishapinvestigationsandcompleteallrequiredreportingtoHHIandapplicableGovernmentagencies.
• Prepare,maintain,andsubmitallrequiredqualitycontroldocumentation,reports,andlogsinaccordancewithcontractrequirements.
• Research,interpret,andimplementapplicablefederal,state,andproject-specificregulationsandspecifications.
• Develop,implement,andmanage theProjectQualityControlPlan(QCP).
• LeadanddocumentThree-PhaseControlMeetings(Preparatory,Initial,andFollow-Up).
• Record,track,andmaintainlogsofallinspections,testing,andqualityverificationactivitiesperformedonsite.
• Review,coordinate,andtracksubmittals,ensuringcompliancepriortoGovernmentsubmission.
• Coordinatewiththird-partytestinglaboratories,inspectors,andcommissioningagentsasrequiredbythecontract.
• Trackdeficiencies,issuecorrectiveactionrequests,andverifycompletionofcorrectivework.
• Participateinpreparatorymeetings,pre-installationmeetings,andGovernmentcoordinationmeetings.
• Assistwithprojectcloseoutactivities,includingpunchlists,as-builtdocumentation,warranties,andO&Mmanuals.

KeyWorkingRelationships

MustbeabletoworkprofessionallyandeffectivelywithGovernmentrepresentatives,inspectors,andnon-governmentpersonnel.TheQualityControlManagermustcoordinatewithmultipletradesanddisciplinestoensurequalitycompliancewithoutimpedingconstructionprogress.Clear,conciseverbalandwrittencommunicationwithOwners,ProjectManagers,Superintendents,andCorporateSafetyisrequired.

MinimumQualifications

• Bachelor’sdegreeinEngineeringorConstructionManagement
• Minimumten(10)yearsofconstructionexperience,withatleasttwo(2)yearsservingasthePrimaryQualityControlManageronfederalconstructionprojects.
• Demonstratedexperienceonfederalprojects(USACE,NAVFAC,VA,orsimilar).
• Successfullycompletedatleastoneprojectvaluedat$8millionorgreater.
• Experienceonprojectsexceeding10,000squarefeet.
• OSHA30-HourConstructionSafetyTrainingwithdemonstratedknowledgeofEM385-1-1.
