HHI Corporation is seeking a Lead Quality Control Manager to own the project's quality program on complex DoD and federal construction initiatives. You will lead inspections, coordinate with government representatives, and ensure safety, compliance, and high standards across all phases.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep experience with USACE/NAVFAC, EM385-1-1, and QC documentation. You will drive corrective actions, manage meetings, and mentor QC staff to deliver on-time, within-budget

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction experience, incl. 2+ years as Primary Quality Control Manager on federal projects.
• Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, VA, or similar federal projects.
• Experience completing a project valued at $8 million or more.
• Experience on projects exceeding 10,000 square feet.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Training and EM385-1-1 knowledge.
• Experience with RMS/QCS and Government electronic reporting systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and approved submittals.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, including Government correspondence.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Experience with Bluebeam and Procore or similar construction management software.
• Ability to meet Government security clearance requirements.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform inspections in active construction environments.

• Conduct site inspections to identify, document, and correct deficient or non-conforming work.
• Develop, implement, and manage the Project Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Lead and document Three-Phase Control Meetings: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up.
• Prepare and maintain required QC documentation, reports, logs, and Government submissions.
• Review and track submittals to ensure compliance before Government submission.
• Track deficiencies and corrective actions through completion.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and third-party testing as required.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM385-1-1, project safety plans, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate required quality and safety training.
• Lead mishap investigations and complete required reporting.
• Participate in project, pre-installation, preparatory, and Government coordination meetings.
• Support project closeout, including punch lists, as-builts, warranties, and O&M manuals.
• Work closely with Government representatives, inspectors, Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and Corporate Safety to maintain quality without delaying progress.
